At the tender age of seventeen, I lost my mom after a long battle with cancer. As a source of comfort, people often say to me; your mom is always with you in spirit.

This work is about being in a comedic conversation with my mom, invoking an army of love and support when needed. She arrives in a party dress, reminding me to laugh, to embrace the lighter side of life.
